Rugby
I called for the ball as the whistle went - Pheep! When it landed in my arms I went white as a sheet, I tore up the field like a goose feathered shaft, Just before I was tackled by a low flying half. Others bore down on me, I thought I was dead, And began to wish to be back home in bed, I dodge clear of their legs as quick as lightening, Just to be caught by a Monster’ - frightening. No sooner had It’ got me when he began to topple, Then my mates and I went out at full throttle, But just when we looked all set for a win, I collected a knock-out right on the chin.
