For 2001, pupils are being given support from the Trust to attend CCF Camp in Cyprus, to undertake GAP years in Australia and Zambia and to join the Great Britain Shooting Team in South Africa. The Fund represents

a great opportunity for pupils to stretch themselves, develop their characters in a positive and challenging way, and learn about life and people in a fashion that will stand them in good stead throughout their lives.
The Trustees are always looking to support pupils and are particularly keen to give assistance to pupils showing individual enterprise and an ambitious spirit of adventure. Participation in cultural activities is also an area of considerable interest to the

Trustees. Any pupil - or parent - interested in finding out more about the Norman MacLeod MacNeil Trust Fund should contact the Headmaster or Bursar. Application forms for grants are available from the Bursar and the annual deadline for submission of grant requests is the close of the Autumn/Winter term each year, with bids being considered by the Trustees early in February the following year.
