INSPECTION The Parade is drawn up with Pipes and Drums in rear. The Colours are marched on to the Parade to the School March The Victorians and are Saluted by the Parade. (Spectators rise for Salute.)
The Inspecting Officer is conducted to the Saluting Base by the Commandant, accompanied by the Headmaster, and preceded by two boy Orderlies. He mounts the dais and is received by a General Salute at 3 p.m. precisely. {Spectators rise for the Salute.)
The Senior Monitor commanding the parade, reports the Parade "Ready for Inspection" to the Inspecting Officer. The Inspecting Officer preceded by the two boy Orderlies and accompanied by the Commandant and the Headmaster, inspects the Parade, and then returns to the dais.
MARCH PAST The Parade moves off to the right and forms Column of Guards to the left of the Saluting Base. The Pipes and Drums play The Atholl Highlanders. The Guards march past in slow time to the tune The Borderers. (Spectators rise as the Colours pass them.) The Parade reforms line to the tune The Pibroch of Donald Dhu and then advances in Review Order to the tune Scotland the Brave and again gives a General Salute. (Spectators rise for the Salute.)
ADDRESS AND PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES AND PRINCE PHILIP MEDAL The Parade forms three sides of a square and advances to the Saluting Base. The Inspecting Officer addresses the Parade. Boys receiving trophies and Prince Philip Medal fall in. Trophies and Medals are presented by Lady Boswell. The Senior Monitor calls for Three Cheers (only boys on Parade cheer).
