We had two Athletic Meetings during this term. The first with Auchterarder Secondary School, which we won. The second was with Alva Academy and Lornshill Academy in which we were narrowly beaten in to second place.

ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY AWARDS

In July last year we had a test for boys who had, for various reasons, been unable to take the erlier test before Easter. The following results were obtained.

Throughout the Autumn, Winter and Spring, we have had boys working for over 70 awards. The testing of their ability has taken much time and patience. My thanks to Mr. I. T. Williams, who kept the scheme going while I was off ill for two months.

In addition to this number of our own boys taking these awards, we had a group from McLaren High School, Callander. This group wanted the awards for either Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Service Section or Boy Scout Badges.

J. K. S. Stewart coached this group and was himself successful in gaining his Advanced Teacher's Certificate. This group: four girls and two boys all resident in Dunblane successfully took tests for Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross.

NON SWIMMERS

This Report is the usual one on this subject. We now have no non-swimmers. Only twelve boys attended this class this year, and all were successful in swimming 1 length (20 yds.) at the end of the course.
